久保田麻琴と夕焼け楽団がBetter Daysレーベルに残した2作品を、久保田麻琴自身のリマスタリングにより、アナログリイシュー

エリック・クラプトン来日ツアーのオープニング・アクトや「ローリング・ココナツ・レビュー」の出演を経て、
ロック・バンドとして脂の乗りきった時期に、細野晴臣、エイモス・ギャレット、ジェフ・マルダー、ロニー・バロン
らをゲストに迎えて録音された、Better Daysレーベル第一弾作品「ラッキー・オールド・サン」。
この日本のロック史上の重要作品を、久保田麻琴自らがリマスターし、日本コロムビアの熟練のエンジニア、
武沢茂がカッティング。
二人の音の匠がこだわり抜き、オリジナル盤とはまた一味違った、聴き応え十分のヴァイナルに仕上がっている。

Makoto Kubota and the Sunset Gang's two works on the Better Days label have been reissued in analog form, remastered by Makoto Kubota himself.

After performing as an opening act for Eric Clapton's tour in Japan and appearing in "Rolling Coconut Revue,” the first album on the Better Days label, "Lucky Old Sunset", was recorded at the time when the band was at its peak as a rock band, and featured guests such as Haruomi Hosono, Amos Garrett, Jeff Mulder, Ronnie Barron, and others.
This important work in Japanese rock history was remastered by Makoto Kubota himself and cut by Shigeru Takezawa, a skilled engineer at Nippon Columbia.
The two sound masters have been meticulous in their attention to detail and have created a vinyl that is different from the original release.
