Ronnie Barron, known for his work with Dr. John, Paul Butterfield, and Ry Cooder, created his second album released in 1978, produced by Haruomi Hosono, and reissued with remastering by co-producer Makoto Kubota!
The New Orleans recording features Dr. John and members of the Meaters, while the Tokyo recording features Tin Pan Alley and members of the Sunset Gang!
The combination of top-notch musicians representing New Orleans and Tokyo, and Ronnie Barron's distinctive voice, who can sing with a three-octave vocal range, gives the work a unique sound that has no equal.
The commentary includes liner notes by Manabu Yuasa, who conducted interviews with Haruomi Hosono and Makoto Kubota for this project.
